Am I the only person in the world that didn't like the book? And to be honest, the movie didn't knock me off my socks either. However, I am more than happy to do a re-write with my own trip to Italy! Excitedly, Jeff and I will be doing a little of our own Eat, Pray, Love this month! Tomorrow morning our super wonderful friend Joyce, will drop us at the airport and send us on our way to London and Italy. No special reason for the trip other than my husband rocks and we love traveling together. And no, I didn't practice my Italian this time. I learned from the last trip that even if you do say a few words, you can't say them fast enough for the Italians and there is no way I can wave my hands around like they do (without looking like I escaped from the mental facility).
As Elizabeth Gilbert, author of Eat, Pray, Love said "I think I deserve something beautiful".....so off we go!
